Website names Lynnwood mayor 8th worst boss in America | People

It’s likely a list that Don Gough would rather not be on.

The Lynnwood mayor made the list of “America’s Worst Bosses” as compiled by the website eBossWatch. In fact, Gough was ranked as the eighth worst boss in the nation, according to the list.

What got the mayor on the list? According to Linnda Durre, a Florida-based psychotherapist who was part of the panel that created the list, it was his role in creating a “hostile work environment” in Lynnwood City Hall.

In August, a report was released that accused the mayor of harassment and intimidation of city employees. City employees passed a no-confidence motion in September, as well. Gough has also has clashes with the city council, which at one point asked for his resignation.

Other local people on the list included former Snohomish County Planning Director Craig Ladiser at #43 and Auburn state senator Pam Roach at #86.
